COSM 150 Cosmetology

This course is part of the 1600-hour program to become licensed. New classes

begin approximately every six weeks. New students must purchase a $595

kit that includes cosmetology tools and four textbooks.

Prior to enrolling, students must first contact the Oceanside College

of Beauty at (760) 757-6161 ext. 13 to schedule an appointment with

the registrar. After a brief admissions test, students will be directed

to MiraCosta to obtain a permit to register for the class.

This class meets at Oceanside College of Beauty, 1575 S. Coast

Hwy., Oceanside.

COSM 299 Coop Work Exp -- Occupational

(Materials Fees - $10.00) For students whose work is related to their de

major.

COREQUISITES: Students must be employed in a position directly related

to their declared major and must complete 75 hours of paid work or 60 hours

of non-paid work per unit of credit.
