Cosmetology is the use of cosmetics based on scientific and artistic principles. The Cosmetology curriculum is designed to provide instruction and practice in manicuring, shampooing, chemical rearranging of hair, facials massage, scalp treatments, cutting and styling of hair, wig care, and hair coloring, and prepares the prospective cosmetologist for the North Carolina licensing exam.

A trained cosmetologist is in constant demand, and a wide varity of opportunities are available.

The Vocational Diploma is awarded for completion of this program. Courses are available on both campused, day and evening.
