Environmental, Health, & Safety Management Master of Science
Program Overview
The environmental, health, and safety management MS ensures that graduates can identify and leverage the regulatory, voluntary, and business drivers for environmental health and safety (EHS) programs to design and implement effective EHS management systems and programs. The program is available full-time and part-time in the evening.

Admission Requirements
Fulfill general criteria for graduate admission
Formal academic education or experience in areas of environmental management (air, water, and solid waste); industrial hygiene; safety management
Prerequisites include successful completion of at least one college-level course each in statistics and computer science, 20 quarter credit hours (or 15 semester credit hours) of college-level science and math course work, with at least four quarter credit hours (or three semester credit hours) from each of the following three areas:
general chemistry or organic chemistry
biology, microbiology, ecology, or biochemistry
physics, geology, hydrology, or geochemistry
Two brief writing samples that demonstrate written communication skills
Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are not normally required. However, applicants who do not meet the above requirements may be required to submit GRE scores to support their candidacy.
A minimum TOEFL score of 570 (for paper-based exam) or 230 (computer-based) is required for international applicants seeking admission from non-English-speaking countries.
