Students who need to strengthen their oral and written English for academic purposes.
Goal - To develop the skills necessary to achieve a successful transition to an American institue of higher education
Who should take this course?Implementation -
Students will learn basic English structure, syntax and diction as well as an academic vocabulary and study skills. U.S. cultural history will be learned through content rich readings and activities. Students will also become familiar with university skills such as active listening and presenting.
This program includes an integrated skills English class supported by electives in:
