Prince George's Community College
pgweb.pg.cc.md.us/Prince George’s Community College will host its 47th commencement ceremony at a new location, The Show Place Arena and Prince George's Equestrian Center. The number of graduates and guests has grown during the past few years, and the new venue accommodates that growth with seating for more than 4,000 people. Five-hundred plus students are participating in the graduation ceremony and receiving associate’s degrees and certificates in fields ranging from business management to nursing.
Many students will transfer to four-year universities or use their education and training to obtain employment and enhance their careers.
WHO: Michael Weiss, Olympic figure skating champion, will serve as the commencement speaker. Weiss received his associate’s degree in business from the college in 1999.
