Saint Joseph College

Saint Joseph College was founded in 1932 by the Sisters of Mercy to provide higher education opportunities for women. Over the years, the College has remained true to this vision, offering students solid professional training grounded in a tradition rich in the liberal arts. Consistently cited on the national level for the quality of its academic programs, Saint Joseph College is committed to responding to the needs of an ever changing society. Today, the College serves the needs of a diverse, intergenerational student body while remaining true to its original mission.

The College's newest facility, The Carol Autorino Center for the Arts and Humanities, houses a 350-seat auditorium, five art galleries to showcase the College's extensive fine arts collections, classrooms, faculty offices and more. The campus is easily accessible and offers ample parking, residence halls, dining facilities, the Pope Pius XII Library with over 133,700 volumes and on-line resources, The O'Connell Athletic Center, and a state-of-the-art Information Technology Network Center.
